Mandrake Handshake

Mandrake Handshake

Multi-dimensional nine-piece spectaculars Mandrake Handshake showcase a music they call “flowerkraut” — a hedonistic, brain-frying feast of krautrock, art-pop and psychedelia, spiced with enigmatic grooves and fearless improvisations.

Fresh from a spate of festivals and nationwide headline shows, the Oxford–London collective released their second EP The Triple Point of Water on 18th November via Glasshouse Records. Replicating all the nuclear force of a Mandrake live show, the EP marks an explosive development of their self-honed style: riff-shredding odes to anime ninjas tussle seamlessly with psych-pop romances on the complexities of human love; suspenseful french-noir fuckeries erupt into triumphant motoriking propulsions about toppling fascism and aggressive, counter-pressing football.

So grab your tambourines! Let down your hair! Fix your third-eyeliner! Come witness the spectacle…
